Ashley Stanton is an up and coming choreographer hailing from New York City, based out of Austin, Texas specializing in contemporary, lyrical, technical and stylized jazz. Her pieces have been showcased in many of New Yorks artist spaces, studios and venues along with regional studios based in Texas, New Jersey and New York. Most recently
Ashley worked with Glamour Magazine and YourSingapore.com on advertising campaigns, the Radio City Rockettes winter clinic and Breaking the Cycle a fundraiser for AIDS. As a dancer she spent fall 2008 and spring 2009 training in Chicago focusing on choreography and technique and was a participant in Broadway Dance Centers Professional Semester program for the winter 2010 session. In August of 2010 Ashley was invited to dance under Nuganuma Dance Company in the City Sunset Project at Alvin Ailey and in February performed with Brice Moussets Contemporary Company.
Many of her personal awards include several overall awards at the national level, Top Entertainer, invites to dance with the national team for Hall of Fame Dance Challenge, and she was inducted to the Broadway Dance and Fitness Hall of Fame in 2008. Her training includes members of Hubbard street dance company, Ballet Austin, Pittsburg Ballet, former and current Radio City Rockettes. Ashley has also studied under choreographers and contestants of So You Think You Can Dance as well as the staff of Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Peridance Capezio Center and The Edge Performing Arts Center.
