Bethany Disbro was raised in Simi Valley , CA . She has 19 years of dance experience and began her journey at Dance Unlimited, where she was formally trained in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Modern. Among her years at Dance Unlimited she began dancing at Patsy Swayzes Dancer Studio where she furthered her ballet and jazz training. At the age of 13 she decided to concentrate her studies on lyrical and hip hop where she reached a turning point and received guest instruction by world-renowned choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Kathy DunHamrick and Jason Samuels Smith.
Bethany attended James Bowie High School in Austin, TX where she became part of the dance team known as The Company. Competing in several competitions, school fundraising shows, and benefit shows she became part of the first ever Company at James Bowie High School. Shortly after graduating she spent time in Los Angeles and New York on the production line for musicals such as Wicked and The Color Purple.
Upon returning to Austin, she had the unique experience of teaching at a dance studio full of children whom were diagnosed with autism. Among helping them with their disease she encouraged them to concentrate on other things and to find a love for dance. She is now going to college to earn her early education teaching degree with a minor in dance.
